We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Syrena House, a 9-bedded male in-patient recovery unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized care to our service users, promoting their recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care using the Personalised Care Framework.
- Act as a Keyworker for identified individual service users, providing comprehensive risk assessment, history, planning, and management.
- Contribute to the recovery process and care pathway by utilizing your skills and knowledge in a multi-disciplinary way to provide holistic care.
- Work in partnership with carers of clients using Triangle of Care initiatives, offering support, advice, and reassurance on sensitive and emotional issues.
- Be responsible and accountable for the safe storage and administration of medication, educating clients and carers regarding potential benefits and side effects.
- Take responsibility for the Nurse in Charge role of the unit in the absence of more senior staff, planning and organizing daily clinical activity, and maintaining the safety of staff and clients.
