We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the work of the Conference Office of The Methodist Church, managing administrative functions in a professional, positive and customer-focused way. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.


Main Responsibilities:



  • The postholder will take responsibility for particular work areas, processes and tasks, using their own initiative to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • The postholder will have proven abilities as an administrator, ideally in a complex organisation.
  • They will be a team player able to work closely with a wide range of individuals across the organisation.
  • They will have strong interpersonal skills that enable them to develop effective relationships.
  • They will be motivated to deliver good 'customer service' and understand what this looks like from the perspective of the 'customer'.
  • They will have a flexible and proactive approach to work, with strong attention to detail, which enables them to prioritise and proactively manage multiple and changing priorities.
  • The Senior Administrator is required to embrace fully the ethos of The Methodist Church.
