About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Technician to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. As a Compliance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of our highway network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of the Network Management Duty
  • Assist in the operation of the Permit Scheme in accordance with the Scheme Document and Section 3 of the Traffic Management Act
  • Support the Senior Compliance Officer in ensuring the delivery of Essex Highways and Essex Permit Scheme objectives
  • Ensure data reliability across the business unit
  • Prepare data and participate in informal and formal reviews/meetings of work promoter's & internal performance
  • Review completed inspections for quality and training purposes
  • Provide detailed feedback to Senior Compliance Officer and other Senior Managers
  • Review and process incoming skips and scaffolding applications
  • Gather facts and figures, monitor self and others, and achieve goals in a timely and factual manner
  • Ensure the discharge of the council duties under the relevant legislation
  • Take ownership of your own workload while assisting with the team's workload as capacity allows
  • Assist with the use of systems and data for collating and reporting relevant performance and management information
  • Have a working knowledge of all Streetworks processes

About You

We are looking for a thorough, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual who can think logically and apply detailed analysis of data. You should be able to follow clearly defined processes and work independently with minimal supervision. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
