Flood Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in flood risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop business cases for flood risk management schemes to secure funding.
- Apply hydraulic modelling and drainage modelling software to inform flood risk assessments.
- Work with public sector clients, including local authorities and the Environment Agency.
- Contribute to project delivery, using project management principles and techniques.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and influence positive outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, geography, or a related field.
- Chartered membership or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution.
- Technical experience in UK flood risk legislation and planning standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
