EMEA Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Credit Controller to join our team at Reliance Worldwide Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing customer credit and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer credit limits and monitor account activity to prevent bad debt.
- Process and follow up on customer payments, including cash postings and allocation of customer payments.
- Run and collate statements, invoices, and proof of deliveries to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Chase customers proactively by email and phone to ensure prompt payment.
- Review customer master data and revise as necessary to ensure accurate credit limits.
- Use credit agency reports to recommend credit limits on customer accounts.
- Set up direct debit collections and ensure departmental paperwork is filed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on customer queries and escalate issues to relevant teams or manager as necessary.
- Liaise with internal customers, including warehouse, customer services, and commercial teams.
- Responsible for order management, including releasing orders.
- Handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
- Responsible for EMEA interco accounts and dunning runs.
- Process e-invoicing and perform credit checks and risk assessments on potential clients.
- Participate in initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Accounts Payable team.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on customer account due diligence, terms, reconciliations, and payment recovery.
- 3+ years of credit control experience preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish is essential, French preferable.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large volumes of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
