Job Details

Estimated Salary: £40,855-£46,913 per annum

We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Professor Francis Brown at the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. This is a 3-year fixed-term position, funded by a research grant from the European Research Council.

The successful candidate will be part of a research group responsible for carrying out research in scattering amplitudes and Feynman integrals in mathematics and physics. They will conduct research independently, collaboratively with other members of the mathematical physics research group, or with international mathematicians.

The researcher will contribute to the activities of the research group, write up the results of their work for publication in refereed journals, and present research proposals and results at meetings.

To be eligible, candidates must have a PhD in mathematics or a related discipline, possess specialist knowledge in the field, and excellent communication skills.
