Rail Project Delivery Manager Job Overview

We are Turner & Townsend, a leading consultancy provider to the rail sector, and we are currently seeking a Rail Project Delivery Manager to join our London office.

The successful candidate will lead the programme controls function for a programme, responsible for delivering accurate and consistent plans, managing cost, safety, environmental and performance reporting, and coordinating available controls team resources.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring they meet GRIP guidelines and are aligned with programme objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify resource requirements and facilitate effective programme management.
  • Provide expert advice on project controls best practices, ensuring seamless integration with other programme functions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance programme efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions within the rail sector.
  • Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications, including Primavera (P6).
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management principles.

Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
