About the Role

As a Senior Consultant - Implementation Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an implementation project from a Charles River Development perspective. This includes interpreting workflow analysis documents and converting them into specifications for CR IMS configuration to ensure Best Practice delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage implementation projects from start to finish
  • Interpret workflow analysis documents and convert them into specifications for CR IMS configuration
  • Provide ongoing communication and evaluation of project status to the client and Charles River Project Manager
  • Act as a single point of contact for clients during the implementation project
  • Undertake daily execution of project plan steps
  • Ensure client needs are understood and documented
  • Provide proactive leadership in client utilization of CRD products and services
  • Facilitate conference calls and meetings with other consultants and product experts
  • Communicate pertinent information on upgrades and major releases
  • Manage training and consulting resource requests
  • Monitor and assist with issue escalation process
  • Respond to additional product requests
  • Manage coordination of work undertaken by CRD representatives in other locations for the implementation
  • Maintain awareness of industry changes and trends

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in implementing financial systems
  • Strong Front Office experience, including order management and dealing with Fund Managers/Traders
  • Applications experience with Charles River Investment Management System or equivalent
  • Good Investment Management and market instrument knowledge, including Front Office workflows, Fixed Income/derivatives, Equity, Compliance, IBOR, PMA, Ex-Ante and Ex-Post Risk and Scenario Analysis
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
