About the Role

As a Principal Talent Management Leader at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to design, build, and implement strategic talent systems that make Amazon the premier destination for the world's most talented individuals. This role is dedicated to the World-Wide Amazon Stores (WWAS) Tech organization and will report to the WWAS Tech Line Talent Management leader. You will be part of a broader team of talent management professionals who support the WWAS businesses.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing talent management plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives. You will ensure talent readiness by creating mechanisms such as success profiles, talent assessments, and leadership investment planning based on business needs. Additionally, you will partner with business leaders and HR leaders to define and establish a long-term talent strategy that includes identifying critical jobs, determining talent gaps, and assessing internal and external availability.

We are building a team of passionate talent management professionals who are dedicated to creating human-centered transformation experiences that position WWAS Tech talent members to do the best work of their lives. Our mission is to raise the bar on delivering for customers while creating opportunities for employees to grow and develop.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate analytical capabilities, a process improvement mentality, and the ability to influence others with data-driven recommendations. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is highly preferred. Experience working in the technology space and a strong ability to analyze data to solve complex business problems are also essential.
