Job Title: Outfit/ Structures

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Designer to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of CAD Models and Drawings: Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.
  • Design Deliverables: Ensuring all design deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during appropriate design phases to ensure coordination and functionality of design.
  • Perform self-verification of work.
  • Reporting of technical progress and issues to line management.
  • Be aware of and ensure that safety, health and environmental requirements are implemented.
  • Assist with the maintenance and improvement in quality standards of outputs.

Requirements:

  • The candidate is required to hold a minimum of NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification in Structural/Outfitting discipline subject.
  • Or alternatively an apprenticeship in relevant discipline.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
  • Competent in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system both in a 3D & 2D environment, preferably FORAN.

Experience:

  • Experience in industry preferred but not essential.
