Weldmar Hospicecare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Governance Expert to join its Board of Trustees. As a Clinical Governance Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Executive in providing vision, direction, and leadership to enable Weldmar to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Weldmar operates in accordance with its Memorandum and Articles of Association and all applicable legislation and regulations.
- Use your clinical expertise to inform strategic decisions and ensure the charity's activities align with its objectives.
- Work closely with the Chair and other Trustees to ensure strong financial stability and effective governance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and hold the Chief Executive accountable for outcomes.
- Participate in the induction and training of new Trustees.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant clinical expertise and experience in a relevant field.
- Strong governance and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to commit to attending six meetings per year.
