Anticoagulation and Phlebotomy Service Manager

As a Clinical Lead for Anticoagulation and Phlebotomy, you will provide expert leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. You will work closely with the anticoagulation and phlebotomy teams to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and service efficiency.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the anticoagulation and phlebotomy teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and service efficiency, including the development of policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the anticoagulation and phlebotomy teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve patient care and service delivery.
- Provide education and training to staff on anticoagulation and phlebotomy best practices and ensure that staff are competent in their roles.
- Contribute to the development of the Trust's clinical governance agenda and ensure that the anticoagulation and phlebotomy services are aligned with Trust policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure that the anticoagulation and phlebotomy services are integrated with other services and that patient care is seamless.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on anticoagulation and phlebotomy best practices and ensure that staff are aware of the latest developments and research in the field.
- Contribute to the development of the Trust's quality improvement agenda and ensure that the anticoagulation and phlebotomy services are aligned with Trust quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant degree or education, knowledge and experience to degree level
- Registered Adult Nurse (NMC)
- Further relevant training in speciality
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Non-medical prescribing qualification
- Mentorship qualification
- Recognised qualification in anticoagulation
