We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a House Manager at the Good Shepherd Secure Unit. As a key member of our senior staff team, you will be responsible for managing a designated team and area within the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of care staff to achieve agreed work plans and objectives
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with young people, their families, and other professionals
- Ensure the quality of care and living environment meets the Good Shepherd Secure Unit's ethos and legislative requirements
- Participate in on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis to ensure 24/7 support for young people
- Collaborate with other teams to promote a positive and supportive living environment
- Experience of supporting vulnerable young people in a residential setting
- Commitment to upholding and promoting Children's Rights
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Social Care or equivalent qualification recognized by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a registered supervisor within six months of employment
