Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Transformation Lead to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving transformation across our healthcare services.

About the Role

The Healthcare Transformation Lead will be responsible for leading large-scale transformation initiatives, particularly with the clinical reset programme. You will work closely with our Provider Collaborative team and broader partners across Lancashire and South Cumbria to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transformation Leadership: Develop and drive the delivery of key programmes of change and improvement, partnering with clinical teams to deliver patient benefit and financial sustainability.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with our System Planning Lead to oversee the operational planning cycle, ensuring key linkages between changes to leadership arrangements, finance, workforce, and activity are in place.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure that our Clinical Portfolios implement a robust governance structure, designed to sustain shared business operations and develop new opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster collaboration, leveraging the expertise of partner organisations and wider stakeholder groups, to develop effective working relationships across organisational boundaries.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent: Educated to Master's level or equivalent level of experience.
  • NHS Policy Agenda Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the NHS policy agenda, including Integrated Care Systems, Integrated Care Boards, Provider Collaboratives, and place-based partnerships.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of achievement working at senior level in a complex health service environment, with experience of building personal and professional credibility with Board, management, and clinical teams.
  • Change Management Skills: Experience as a change leader, managing complex programmes and developing innovative approaches to service delivery.
What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
