About Project Selborne

Project Selborne is a £1 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Training Delivery Instructor to join our team at HMS Collingwood in Fareham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering Warfare training on Low Frequency Analysis Recording (LOFAR) and SONAR 2087, 2050.

  • Deliver practical and classroom training to classes of 8-10
  • Support line management and other delivery staff in training delivery
  • Support piloting and implementing modernised training courses within the establishment
  • Update and maintain training material
What We're Looking For:
  • Understanding of LOFAR
  • Underwater warfare experience within the Royal Navy
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good IT skills using Microsoft Office
  • Experience within the Defence Learning Environment, would be beneficial
  • Level 3 Training or Coaching qualification, would be an advantage
  • Ability to work within a team environment, as well as using own initiative
  • Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level
