About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Trainer/Instructor/Teacher to join our team at the Royal Navy Leadership Academy. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist Divisional and Management training to Officers, approximately 37 courses per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training to Officers, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Provide training support and feedback as and when required.
  • Mark homework and assessments to ensure students meet the required standards.
  • Support the team in meeting the contractual training schedule and programme.
  • Liaise with external authorities and respond to any divisional questions, queries, or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with MoD regulations and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experienced Trainer/Instructor/Teacher with a strong background in training and development.
  • Previous experience within the Royal Navy would be highly beneficial.
  • Instructional/Training qualification, eg Level 3/4 or equivalent (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and others within and outside the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • The ability to gain UK SC clearance.
