This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week on campus.


About you


The ideal candidate should possess a CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent, along with a degree-level education. Substantial recent experience as a Senior HR Advisor in a large, complex organisation engaging with trade unions is essential. Familiarity with intricate governance and regulatory frameworks is required, ideally gained from senior-level HR advisory roles in comparable settings, such as Higher Education institutions, the NHS, or local government.


A robust understanding of employment law and its practical application in day-to-day operations is crucial. You should excel in advising, coaching, and supporting line managers across a spectrum of employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, performance management, and organisational change initiatives.
