Inside Sales Representative - Airfreight/Oceanfreight

LogisticsRecruit UK is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Birmingham. As a key member of the sales function, you will be responsible for driving account acquisition and engaging with global internal networks to support sales development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist with driving account acquisition and sales development.
  • Engage with internal networks to identify new business opportunities.
  • Complete quotations for new and existing business, supporting the wider sales function.
  • Develop and manage individual sales pipelines with a focus on Air and Ocean freight.
  • Book and attend meetings with sales managers.
  • Engage with customers using consultative sales techniques to provide mutual benefit and positive customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably in Air and Sea logistics.
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and looking to develop career progression.
  • Proven track record in B2B Sales.
  • Experience of working to achieve individual targets and generating own sales leads.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Strong team player.
