We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Finance Assistant to join our team at a busy Primary School in Stoke On Trent. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a school environment and be proficient in SIMS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Inputting details onto SIMS
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Typing of letters and memos
- Filing, faxing and photocopying
- Dealing with parents and pupils
- Assist in the provision of the comprehensive financial support services
- Promote the highest standards of financial probity and value for money
- Prepare monthly reports to present to the business manager
- Monitor budgets within the academy
- Oversee communications with payroll services, teachers pensions and the local government pension scheme
- Maintain systems and procedures that ensure transactions are recorded
- Oversee preparations of invoices and collection of all fees
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes
The successful candidate will be:
- Proactive
- Hardworking
- Used to working to strict deadlines
- Not afraid to take on new tasks
