Senior Finance Officer/Assistant Management Accountant

The Alpha Academies Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer/Assistant Management Accountant to join their Central Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to the team, including purchasing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. They will also manage the purchase ledger and monthly BACS runs, prepare monthly management accounts for review, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the Alpha Central Finance Service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent finance, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. They will also have a good understanding of financial information processing and be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified. Knowledge of PS Financials is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
