Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer/Assistant Management Accountant to join our Central Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to the team, managing the purchase ledger, and preparing monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support to the Central Team with purchasing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Manage the purchase ledger and monthly BACS runs.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for review.
  • Contribute to the efficient functioning of the Alpha Central Finance Service.
  • Study support for ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA may be available for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Excellent finance, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Flexibility and ability to show initiative.
  • AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of PS Financials is desirable but not essential.
