Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our dynamic team at Howells Recruitment. As a crucial member of our construction and maintenance division, you will play a key role in ensuring the upkeep, improvement, and safety of social housing units.
Key Responsibilities- Execute high-quality joinery work in social housing units, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Perform multi-skilled tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance, to meet the needs of our clients.
- Assess and repair various components within social housing units, using your expertise to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, and providing excellent customer service.
- Proven experience as a joiner with multi-skilled capabilities, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Must have relevant certifications in joinery and/or multi-skilled trades, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to your craft.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction and maintenance, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
