Food Service Associate

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Cook to join our team at Sodexo. As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals to our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and develop your culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare meals for residents, ensuring high-quality dishes are presented in a timely manner.
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage food inventory, receiving and checking stock, and monitoring portion control.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food presentation.
- 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking, preferably in a residential or commercial kitchen setting.
- Experience working to strict food hygiene standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new dishes and techniques.
