Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the position of Teaching Assistant in our specialist autism setting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students while advancing your own teaching career.

About the Setting

Our school offers a unique and inclusive environment for students with autism and complex educational needs. With a focus on holistic support and care, we provide a wide range of services, including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in class as a TA/tutor, developing your teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Take on teaching responsibilities part-time, gradually increasing your autonomy.
  • Pursue a teaching apprenticeship to achieve QTS by 2026.
Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive individualized support and training throughout your progression.
