Role Summary: Our client, Service Care Solutions Ltd, is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mutual Exchange Officer. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of data management and housing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process mutual exchange applications: Ensure all data is recorded accurately and applications are submitted within the target timescales.
  2. Liaise with internal teams and external parties: Verify properties meet legal and health and safety standards, including gas safety and electrical checks.
  3. Conduct verification checks: Obtain references, credit checks, and housing benefit verifications for prospective customers.
  4. Promote mutual exchange opportunities: Work with the Housing Options Manager to promote mutual exchange opportunities to existing and potential tenants.
  5. Data Protection: Ensure the integrity of personal information and attend regular training on data protection.
  6. Data Processing and Recording: Accurately process and record data.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office, with experience in housing systems like Genero and platforms like Touchpoint and SharePoint.
  8. Confidentiality and Data Protection: Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
  9. Communication Skills: Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, across various stakeholder groups.
  10. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and information to reach sound conclusions.
