About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to take on the role of Deputy Head of Care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and has a strong background in childcare and management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management and operations of the home, ensuring that we are providing the highest standard of care and support to our children.
  2. Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth.
  3. Maintain knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements to ensure we are always up-to-date and compliant.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including company pension scheme, travel expenses, Blue Light Card discounts, and free on-site parking.

Requirements
  • Hold a Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Either hold or be committed to completing their Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
