Packaging & Labelling Operations Specialist

Burberry Limited seeks a highly analytical and organised Packaging & Labelling Operations Specialist to support production planning, inventory management, and data reporting in London. This role plays a critical part in meeting sustainability goals and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Job DescriptionThis position involves assisting with product packaging planning, including critical path management, forecasting, and inventory control. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal and external partners for packaging and labelling needs, provide end-to-end support for labelling, and maintain and manage complex databases to support sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain and luxury retail experience, with knowledge of product labelling being an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential, along with the ability to collect and verify data with Development, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global obligations.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with product packaging planning, including critical path management, forecasting, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners for packaging and labelling needs.
- Provide end-to-end support for labelling, including data management and production requirements.
- Maintain and manage complex databases to support sustainability goals.
- Collect and verify data with Development, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global obligations.
- Support new product launches by coordinating packaging and labelling needs.
- Manage discontinued inventory, collaborating to ensure timely depletion.
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities in the supply chain and assist with related administrative tasks.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in supply chain management, preferably in the luxury retail industry. Experience with SAP/Business Objects is beneficial, as is proficiency in Italian language skills.
