Job Title: EUC Desktop Support

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled EUC Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Iron Systems. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support for our desktop devices, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity, to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Provide IMAC and desk-side support services to our users.
  • Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops.
  • Offer standard and approved hardware and software support for desktop devices, including operating systems and office applications.
  • Analyze Service Desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure each desktop device is installed with the correct desktop image.
  • Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters at our sites.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and smart hands and feet support.
  • Experience with Service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support is a plus.
  • Awareness of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
