Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Education Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in our Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and interactive activities for children in the Early Years.
  • Support children in small groups or one-to-one, helping them reach key milestones and develop essential skills.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Encourage positive behavior and help create a nurturing space for all children to thrive.
  • Support the development of early phonics, maths, and literacy skills through play-based learning.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Requirements
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • A Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • A positive, patient, and nurturing attitude.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A passion for helping young children develop and learn.
