KCR Solutions is working with a global manufacturing enterprise in their search for a skilled Accounts Assistant. Due to a recent restructuring, this is a new position that will contribute to the existing finance team based at the company's site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial duties for four different entities within the business, as well as multiple systems. The company is in the process of transferring finance tasks from one of their European sites to the UK, making it essential for the candidate to have experience with financial systems. Additionally, the ability to think analytically and maintain patience when ensuring data accuracy is crucial for producing management accounts.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining the debtor's ledger and processing invoices
- Managing the creditor ledger and chasing for receipts and invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing BACS payments and journal entries
- Handling petty cash and processing payments
- Assisting in month-end production and VAT returns
- Providing general administrative support within the finance department
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and confident individual to join a well-established and growing business during a period of change.
The working arrangement will be 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, with standard office hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.
