Job Title: Electronics Hardware Tester

Job Description:

As an Electronics Hardware Tester, you will be responsible for testing and fault-finding electronics hardware to component level. This role requires significant experience within the field, with skills assessed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out in-depth testing and fault-finding of analogue and digital electronic products to component level.
  • Working from circuit diagrams to diagnose and identify issues within an electronic system by examination of individual components.
  • Using a range of tools and equipment to carry out tests.
  • Ensuring compliance to test specifications and following processes and procedures.
  • Using problem-solving skills to identify failures and use appropriate tools to test equipment.
  • Wiring, soldering, quality inspection where necessary.
  • Carrying out all associated digital documentation.

Requirements:

  • A relevant background in Electronics Manufacturing.
  • The ability to fault find to component level.
  • Experience using a range of testing techniques and equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • A practical mindset with a good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
  • Some experience with wiring and soldering.
  • Quality inspection experience.
  • A good work ethic with flexibility to work various shift patterns.
  • Great communication skills.
  • The right to work in the UK permanently with no restrictions.
