Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Accident and Emergency department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism, prioritizing the needs of patients and their families
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, to inform care decisions
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient safety and well-being
  5. Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their care

Requirements

  1. Hold a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
  2. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in patient care, medication administration, and anatomy knowledge, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines
  5. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time, permanent position, working in person in our Accident and Emergency department. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £20.53-£21.41 per hour, with a range of benefits including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive induction program, and a supportive team environment.
