Clinical Nurse Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Accident and Emergency department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism, prioritizing the needs of patients and their families
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, to inform care decisions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient safety and well-being
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their care
Requirements
- Hold a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient care, medication administration, and anatomy knowledge, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time, permanent position, working in person in our Accident and Emergency department. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £20.53-£21.41 per hour, with a range of benefits including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive induction program, and a supportive team environment.
