Job Title: Lead Test Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Test Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day engineering operations and overseeing the installation of new equipment and facility upgrades.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engineered Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineered solutions to meet engine testing requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Powertrain and Component Testing: Provide expert technical support in powertrain and component testing, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex issues with test equipment, calibration, and programming, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and address electrical, software, and mechanical issues with test rigs.
  • Facility Upgrade Projects: Oversee facility upgrade projects, managing costs, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Subcontractor Services: Evaluate and select subcontractor services to enhance current equipment and processes.
