A Field Service Engineer role is available in a successful business that services, calibrates and repairs scales, balances and weighing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced multi-skilled engineers with a proven track record of maintenance, repair and calibration. The Job Description:
- Visit client sites to carry out installs, planned preventative maintenance, service and repairs to industrial, retail, and medical scales and other equipment including test weights or service where appropriate.
- Conduct on-site calibrations and repairs, where required.
- Complete calibration certificate/paperwork on site.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Report any sales opportunities back to the office.
- Keep Office 365 diary updated to ensure visibility to the service and admin teams.
- Respond to callouts to customers within 8 working hours and keep customers informed of any delays.
- Ideal candidates will have experience within weighing equipment / metrology.
- Multi-skilled engineers with knowledge of electrical / electronics from similar transferable industries will also be considered.
