**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Calibration Specialist to join our team at Omega Resource Group in Northampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to work on some of the world's most advanced engines, taking responsibility for delivering engine and vehicle calibration programs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in high-performance gasoline engine and vehicle calibration, with a strong understanding of emissions and OBD requirements.

As a Senior Calibration Specialist, you will manage a small team of engineers, working closely with colleagues to deliver programs to time and budget targets.

You will be expected to ensure the quality of work meets company standards, considering health and safety, environmental, and energy impact in all activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage engine and vehicle calibration programs, including emissions and performance development programs & low volume production programs.
  • Lead a small team of engineers, providing supervision and mentoring.
  • Work on-site at Northampton for test bed activities and potentially off-site to support UK-based vehicle calibration.
  • Ensure all relevant standards are abided by, maintaining the highest quality of work.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in high-performance gasoline engine and vehicle calibration.
  • Emissions and OBD specialism is essential – Gasoline Farticulate Filter experience is highly desirable.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Able to communicate effectively on a technical and managerial level.

Salary:** £62,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
