Job Title: Senior Engine Test Installation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engine Test Installation Specialist to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Senior Engine Test Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the electrical and electronic support systems of engine installations on dynos or rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and enable tasks required of support technicians in facilitating testing of engines on dynamometers or engine sub-assemblies on rigs.
  • Manage teams workload to deliver various projects in correct priority and report project status to management.
  • Responsible for electrical & electronic support systems of engine installations on dyno or rig.
  • Production of electrical installation drawings.
  • Authoring local procedures.
  • Maintenance of test department's cooling water systems according to HSG 274 pt1.
  • Stock control of maintenance and consumable inventory.
  • Administration of team's holiday, sickness and overtime records.
  • Support company's compliance with Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of engine test installations, particularly electrical systems.
  • Positive and proactive approach to changing project priorities and challenging new requirements.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
