Speech Therapist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team at a specialist day school for students with high-functioning autism and associated conditions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
This Speech Therapist role involves providing specialist support to students with complex communication needs, developing individualised plans to promote effective communication, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and care to our students, making a positive impact on their lives and future prospects.
Key responsibilities of this Speech Therapist position include:
- Assessing students' communication needs and developing tailored intervention plans
- Delivering one-to-one and group sessions to support students' communication development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to implement whole-school initiatives promoting effective communication
Salary: £130 - £170 per day (dependent on experience)
