Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Court Usher Admin Assistant to join our team at HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) in Northampton City Centre.

This is a short-term temporary position until 31/03/2025, with a possibility of extension. As a Court Usher Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the court, ensuring that all proceedings run smoothly and efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet court users, including vulnerable witnesses and their legal representatives.
  • Prepare court/hearing rooms for proceedings.
  • Complete documentation and ensure the court runs smoothly.
  • Perform general clerical duties to support the work of HMCTS.

  • IT proficiency with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software packages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
