Job Summary

As a Planning Solutions Consultant at Centric Software, you will play a key role in driving solutions to sales engagements, marketing, and business development initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to present Planning solutions to customers, mapping their requirements to solution capabilities, and collaborating with Professional Services in proposal creation. You will also contribute to requirements and specification gathering for the Planning solution.

About the Team

The Centric planning team is a dynamic and driven group of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work remotely with a dedicated and motivated team and contribute to the development of the Planning solution.

Responsibilities
  1. Analyze customer business requirements to propose Planning Solutions.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales Team to qualify prospects.
  3. Develop in-depth, broad-based pre-sales presentations of the Centric Planning Solution suite.
  4. Configure Centric Software solutions that are fit for purpose through product presentations and supporting materials.
  5. Produce written specifications highlighting product features and benefits/value-add to customers to capture business process requirements for proposed solutions.
  6. Analyze requirements and design solutions for complex customer requirements and pain points.
  7. Prepare response documentation for RFI/RFP requests.
  8. Ensure clear understanding of customer technology requirements, providing support for Proposal and Project teams and technical leadership with a vision to win and deliver large-scale, complex solutions.
  9. Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards.
  10. Participate in marketing campaigns according to your understanding of markets and customer potential needs, ensuring that Sales pitches are aligned.
Skills
  1. Strategic Thinking Skills: Pre-Sales Consultants use their strategic thinking skills to craft successful sales pitches for their sales team and engage with customers.
  2. Analytical Skills: analyze data and customer requirements before a product or sales campaign launches.
  3. Collaborative Skills and Sales Attitude: Pre-Sales Consultants collaborate and pitch value propositions to the sales team and customers.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar.
  2. Availability for travel depending on location.
  3. Fashion/Specialty Retail Planning processes industry expertise.
  4. Significant experience with Software Planning, Optimization, Analytics, specifically system demonstrations and presentation skills.
  5. Technical Skills: knowledge of database and BI data science applications.
  6. Excellent presentation and application demonstration skills with small or large audiences.
  7. Ability to develop multi-level relationships of confidence and trust with customers and cross-functional colleagues.
  8. Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving technology and commercial environment.
  9. Track record of pre-sales success.
