About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Nurse Specialist to join our in-patient unit team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead on and coordinate assessment, planning, and evaluation of individualised patient-centred care, ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to patients' changing needs.
  • Maintain a respectful, non-judgmental, and caring attitude, ensuring the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice vision and philosophy of care is integral to the care delivered and role undertaken.
  • Coordinate and ensure the smooth running of shifts, ensuring they are well organised and staff and patients are safe.
  • Act as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community.
