About the Role
The Position
GAP Group Limited is a leading provider of lifting equipment and services, and we are seeking a skilled Lifting Engineer to join our team. As a Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our extensive range of lifting equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in lifting equipment, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution to minimize downtime
- Update service records and complete test certificates to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop area, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lifting Engineer who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience working as a Lifting Engineer or in a mechanically biased role within a busy depot environment
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and repair complex faults
- LEEA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Valid driving license is preferable
