Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our client's finance team as a Finance Manager in Malvern. The ideal candidate will have experience in both financial and management reporting, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and be based in the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Management Accounting: Produce month-end management accounts and provide commentary.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Identify and analyze variances between actual and budgeted performance.
  • Cash Flow Management: Forecast cash inflows and outflows to ensure liquidity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during the year-end audit process.
  • VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Team Development: Provide training and mentoring to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or close to completion.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and IT skills essential.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
