Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Emergency Nurse to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. As a Paediatric Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Paediatric Emergency Department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric emergency nursing, with experience in leadership and management. You will be required to work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in our Paediatric Emergency Department
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Current NMC qualification and registration as a Registered Sick Children's Nurse
  • 5 years post-registration experience in paediatric emergency nursing
  • Experience in leadership and management roles
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in paediatric emergency care
