Job Title: OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate OTM equipment in accordance with railway standards and company procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on OTM equipment, including mechanical and electrical work.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members on OTM equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of rail plant equipment.
  • Identify and report any equipment faults or issues to the maintenance team.

Requirements:

  • Valid NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights.
