Job Title: OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our OTM equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate OTM equipment in accordance with Railway Standards and company procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on OTM equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members on OTM equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of OTM equipment.
  • Report any equipment faults or issues to the Rail Plant Control Desk immediately.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of computer and phone skills, Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Flexible, honest, and punctual.
  • Certified in Vehicle, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • In possession of a Clean Full and Valid road vehicle driving license to be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Willing to continue learning and be trained.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and sense of professional pride.
  • Able to perform weekend and night shift duties.
  • Mechanically minded.
  • Team worker.
  • Good knowledge of computer/phone skills.
