Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Executive to join our team at White Cap. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our medium to large customers, driving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to increase sales and revenue for assigned customers.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers and prospect new customers to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer and service-related issues.
  • Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts.
  • Provide market and competitor information to internal teams.
  • Meet sales quota, part margin, and controllable expense objectives.
  • Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply it when servicing customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman's Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts.
  • Prior experience in telesales and possession of proven phone sales skills.
  • Knowledge in company product line.

Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, which may include navigating through rough terrain and unfinished construction sites, and/or climbing ladders.
