About the Role

We are seeking a talented Paralegal to join our Court of Protection team at Irwin Mitchell. As a specialist in this field, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team who are passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deputy in managing the property and affairs of individuals who have lost capacity due to serious illnesses or elderly clients with conditions such as dementia.
  • Work across multiple caseloads, using your critical thinking skills to solve problems and provide seamless service to our clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver the best outcomes for our clients in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Contribute to business development opportunities, including converting warm leads into new business.

About You

We are looking for a Fee earning Paralegal with specialist COP experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to operate with integrity and empathy. You will have a demonstratable understanding of the litigation processes alongside Court of Protection matters, and experience managing caseloads while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
