Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Luton Bennett is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team in Caerphilly. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the development of new motor technologies and renewable energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-power electronic systems, including circuit design, modelling, and simulation
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic components
  • Work closely with suppliers to source and procure high-quality electronic components
  • Conduct fault investigation and FMEA to identify and resolve issues
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (PhD desirable)
  • Extensive experience in power electronics, including PCB layout and schematic capture
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience in automotive industry, especially in safety-critical systems and knowledge of ISO 26262
