Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Regional Power Solutions Engineer to join our team at GAP Group Ltd. As a Regional Power Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our Stage V generator fleet, including associated ancillaries. Your primary responsibility will be to travel across our regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment, while accurately updating service records.

About the Role

As a Regional Power Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert technical support and maintenance services for our Stage V generator fleet
  • Identifying and repairing faults or damage to equipment, including Stage V generators, AMF/MDU, and Distribution & Cable
  • Updating service records accurately and efficiently
  • Working effectively under pressure and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience within a Generator engineer role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound and current knowledge of Stage V engines and generators is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A customer-focussed approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A valid driving licence is essential
