Culturally Mindful Project Lead
We are recruiting a Culturally Mindful Project Lead to join our team and drive forward our ambitious creative health programme. This exciting initiative aims to address the lack of diverse culturally appropriate social prescribing offer and representation within Wandsworth's creative health sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Arts & Culture Service to develop and deliver a range of creative health projects, including commissioning grants, advocacy work, and partnership development. Strong communications skills, particularly in partnership working with artists and participants from diverse cultures and organisations from different sectors, are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities will include managing partnerships, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, and evaluating the impact of these initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering cultural projects led by practitioners from the Global Majority (i.e. African, Arab, Asian, Caribbean, Chinese), including disabled practitioners. They will possess excellent project management and organisational skills, as well as strong communications skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,955 - £39,933 per annum pro-rata, depending on experience, and a hybrid working arrangement, with Wednesdays spent working from Wandsworth Town Hall and the remainder of the week flexible.
